possible questions + answers
Q: will you ever be open for commissions?
commonly not, but i would like to be. commissions will be available when i have an entirely empty queue and my body is cooperating with me. this may be once every 2 months if my timing is good. they will likely be announced in limited slots on bluesky and toyhouse.Q: what will your commission prices be?
these will change in the future. uncolored sketches are $40-65, flat drawings are $80-140, renders and full illustrations are $110-~235. more in-depth pricing will be provided if i ever have openingsQ: will you do art trades?
short answer is no; long answer is that im ok with being asked by people i know/follow mutually, but i might not always be able to.Q: will you ever trade your characters?
nope, most of the ones i could deal with getting rid of are already traded offQ: do you still have a particular old drawing?
if it's old enough to not be public, then nope. i dont really like looking at that stuff eitherQ: what inspired your style?
look toward maurice wilson, whyn lewis, and katayama bokuyō. i've got a pinterest where i regularly scour helpful visuals as well.

full transparency (wellness talk)
i often wonder whether it's safe to talk about being disabled as well as the importance and appropriateness of doing so, but it feels pretty crucial to me, the subject matter of my work, and the way i communicate with people in a way that feels unavoidable. thus, i'm going to include it here with some care. anyone trying to target these issues will be ignoredas a frame of reference, i have DX'd depression, autism, and anxiety. i do incompletely self-diagnose to understand my other issues because speaking about them or seeking treatment feels like a barrier (even leaving my home feels like a barrier, that's part of it). there are a lot of other things i suspect, but i'm fairly confident that i have ADHD, PMDD, OCD, and OSDD.cumulatively, i just hope this explains why im so distant from people and not really consistent in terms of my sense of self and what i want. this is here to help me explain why haven't achieved the same things others have as well as why i'm slow at responding to people and reaching out.we've debated completely leaving the internet several times because of headmates that just want no public visibility whatsoever. in the future, we may be a bit more firm about when we're unavailable for communication.
the start of this is the fronting tracker you see at the top of this page!
